Threading Land
Opening Friday, March 6 @ 6pm is our latest exhibition by textile artist, France Crowe. Guest speaker Emma Stroude. In her current exhibition,Threading Land, sounds, sights, smells & textures are woven together to create a body of work which is rooted in heritage, transferred through hand & loom. Bold rhythmic movement, grounded in tones of rust, copper, green & brown come together as Contemporary wall art.
WAKE II
Wake II is about movement. The passages of bodies, objects, and ideas move through water, each leaving a trace. Thoughts and memory all carry the imprint of motion. These movements shape form, record experience, and linger. We notice not only what moves, but how movement shapes what remains.
WAKE
Wake inhabits the interstice between motion and memory — the turbulence that traces the body’s passage through water, air, and time. What persists is not the body itself but its reverberation: a distortion, a shimmer, a shifting residue in the medium it displaces.
With Their Backs to the Sky
Step into an expanded cinema experience with a new documentary film accompanied by experimental music trio, Departures Music as they explore themes of ecology and culture. Also participating are two rural artists to exhibit adjacent to the film with their work in painting and textile pieces.
