Window Mounting
A mount can help enhance and crop or edit your image and by not touching the glass adds archival protection. Paper is extremely vulnerable to elements such as uv rays, foxing, fading or moth burns. Think of it as a protection border around the piece. The task of choosing a colour or shade can be daunting and we take great joy in helping during the consultancy process in ensuring we managed to show off the artwork at best. Our mounts are acid free and will not change colour over time.
Float Mounting
A method for mounting artwork in its entirety. This is especially desirable when framing work which you want the edges showing. Drawings or artwork with interesting edges are particularly suited to this type of mounting. Float mounting is recommended for drawings or fine art prints. This is where we may want to see the piece in its entirety. All the edges are seen when float mounting.
Sports & Music Memorabilia
A fantastic gift option is a framed sports jersey or challenge us with any form of sports memorabilia. We design a hardboard cut-out to tighten and straighten out the jersey in the frame.
