What we do
Every frame is cut and assembled by hand from solid wood mouldings. We don't use plastic or composite materials. Every piece leaves the studio built to the same high standard, whether it's a major work heading to exhibition, a gig poster getting its first proper frame or a family photo.
We offer a wide range of mouldings, mount colours and glazing options, including UV-protective and non-reflective glass. Come in with your art and we'll talk through what works best for it.
Window Mounting
A window mount is a border of card placed between your artwork and the glass, creating a visual frame within the frame. Keeping the artwork from touching the glass is important for preservation, as paper is vulnerable to UV light, moisture, foxing, and fading over time. Our mounts are acid-free and colour-stable.
Choosing the right colour or shade can transform how a piece looks. We enjoy working through that with you as part of the consultation.
Float Mounting
Float mounting displays the artwork in full, with all four edges visible. The piece appears to hover slightly above the backing board, giving a clean, contemporary look.
It suits work where the edges are part of the piece; uneven, textured, or deliberately raw. It works equally well for fine art prints and drawings where cropping would be a loss.
Memorabilia
We frame sports jerseys using a custom hardboard cut-out that keeps each jersey perfectly taut in the frame, with no sagging or loose hanging. We've also framed medals, boxing gloves, golf clubs, soccer boots, and most things in between.
A framed piece of memorabilia makes a lasting gift, particularly when combined with a photograph, match ticket, or personal text. We work with individual customers as well as sports clubs, pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
For music: records, guitars, drum sticks, ticket stubs. If it's worth preserving, we can frame it.
