WAKE
Woodblock printed sail cloth by Ian Jermyn and fibreglass and resin scultpture by Elvis Beetham.
Wake
Wake is presented by FreeHold, a collaboration of three artists whose practices are tethered to surfing, craft, and the shifting geographies of belonging. Formed across coastlines and currents, FreeHold operates within the poetics of movement — between making and unmaking, holding and release.
The collective brings together a British surfboard shaper from Cornwall now living in Mayo; a British surfboard and fin maker from Cornwall now residing in Scotland; and an Australian printmaker and textile artist now based in Sligo.
Wake opened Friday, December 5th and runs until January 16th, 2026.
Gallery 1 (Adelaide St.) open 24/7 for street viewing with open access by appointment.
Gallery 2 (Image Framers shop) open Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm.
